About The Club
The Pretoria Marathon Club (PMC) is the oldest running club in Pretoria. We celebrated our 40th anniversary in 2013. George Claassen senior (the father of Wynand Claassen Springbok captain of the eighties) was a founding member of this club and we named our most prestigious race we host annually in his honor. Throughout the years, PMC produced some great runners and we have a proud history of runners achieving silver or gold medals in the Comrades Marathon.
